Desiree Pressley is a passionate and effective science educator, researcher, and facilitator at numerous private and public New York State universities for over nine years. She facilitated the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Biotechnology Summer Camp at Stony Brook University’s Center for Science & Mathematics Education (CESAME) .

Ms. Pressley is also the co-owner/founder of the Connect Four STEM Kindergarten Readiness Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), an after school program that focuses on furthering student’s interest in STEM.  
She has worked as a medical technologist for 12 years in the real world setting.
